Twilight.

Yeah I know I’m super late to this but I just had to read it at least since I never read anything about the books or watched any movie so this comes from the point of view of a 22 year old who doesn’t know almost anything about Twilight.

Rating: 2.8/5.

The book didn’t have a bad start. I went with the flow up until she started to get close to Edward and it went kinda downhill from that. Her brain must have melted or something. What I find annoying is how awkward Bella is throughout the book, I couldn’t get over it.
I also thought it was weird how kinda hateful she was towards Edward and how friendly she was with Jacob later on and a few chapters later she is suddenly super friendly with Edward and very open about her feelings and she starts to be distant towards Jacob with no explanation or anything. She almost died 3 times in 2 months which was also stupid. She also trips and falls too much!
There is no character development so far and I also hated the fact that she broke her lovely dad’s heart over a stupid plan to escape James. She also believes Edward is a god and never questions him which is pretty dumb.

One thing I liked about this book was Edward. I liked him more than I thought I would. He’s a sweetheart and his family is also awesome and welcoming which I didn’t expect.
I believe the plot was badly written and there were so many little bad details about it but even tho’ it’s a hated book generally, I don’t regret reading it and I will surely read the rest of them.

“I could set this world on fire and call it rain”

Ah, my most recent read and the book that I keep thinking of, Victoria Aveyard’s Red Queen.

Rating: 5/5 of course.

No wonder this is a pretty popular book. It took me on a roller coaster of feelings and it has the perfect kind of adventure that I expected for such a long time.

This book turns very easily from fantasy to thriller. And that’s pretty dangerous if you’re gonna be attached to it just like I was.

When I thought at the beginning that I don’t know how this book is different from other books with conflicts between inferior and superior societies, BANG, I’ve been served some mutants…and superpowers…and wars…and rebellion…betrayals…and a love triangle (of course, of course, you can’t escape this).

I’m so curious about the sequel, I don’t know how I will resist until I get it.
