Favorite bookish gadgets

I’m on a hunt for good bookish gadgets for myself so I thought I should share with you my favorite finds! Click on each title to open the amazon page where you can buy them.

THE ENGLISH DICTIONARY BOOKMARK

I just discovered this and I fell in love with it instantly. You also have over 30 thousand of definitions!! That’s so exciting and helpful!

A FOLDED LED BOOK LIGHT

This one’s a pretty impressive addition to any bookworm’s room. It also gives a special effect in pictures for your bookstagram. Can’t wait to get it!

DUAL RECHARGEABLE BOOK LIGHT

I already have this one and I totally recommend it. You can change the brightness of it and it’s so much easier to read now in the dark because it has 2 lights to cover both pages. Less frustrating and more innovative!

THUMB PAGE HOLDER

You know how annoying it is when the book keeps folding, well the guys from Thumb Thing came up with a good idea: a page holder for your thumb.

LED LIGHT MAGNIFYING GLASS FOR BOOKS

If your eyesight is not in the best condition (just like mine), some small fonts could really mess up your reading time, so this magnifying glass could come in handy, especially because it has LED too!

FINGER POINTER BOOKMARK

It’s cool to have a bookmark to know what’s the last page you read but it’s even cooler for that bookmark to have a finger, to indicate even the last row you have read.

POPSLATE E READER PHONE CASE

This is basically a kindle on the back of your phone. It is a pretty interesting concept in my opinion.

IRISCAN WIRELESS BOOK SCANNER

You can have a digital copy of any book you read!

I hope I have been of help with improving your reading life.

PageHabit January Box

As of January, something pretty important happened to me: I became a moderator for the PageHabit romance boxes!

I take part in an awesome team and I’m happy to show you the romance box for January. Also, you can find the book review in the PageHabit book club on Facebook.

As you can see, you can get plenty of goodies!

My favorite ones are the sheet face masks. They were the first sheet masks I have tried and it was also the first time I tried any korean beauty items (yes, they were made in Korea). I definitely recommend them! I think I’m gonna get some more because they’re worth it. My face was so moisturized and clean, I could not believe it.

Another cool thing found in this box are the tree friendly pencils, what’s cool about them is that there is sandpaper attached where you can sharpen them, they’re so unique! I haven’t seen them before!

Of course, you can’t have a bookish subscription box without a cool bookmark, this time there is a HARRY POTTER ONE! It’s my first HP bookmark so I was pretty excited! Talking about bookmarks, you get a second bookmark which is too cool! You attach it to the page of the book (you can see that I attached it to Starlight Nights). It looks kinda vintage and there’s a picture of many books in it. It’s my favorite bookmark I have so far.

In every PageHabit box you also get a booklet, it’s a mini book with a short story in it. Very cute and entertaining!

And now last but not least, the Starlight Nights book along with Stacie Kade’s autograph, a hand-written letter and annotations throughout the book. We’re gonna talk about that book soon, I can tell you that I enjoyed it! I trust them when they pick the books and they did an awesome job choosing this one. Also, the annotations in it makes it feel so personal, like the book was written just for you. Review to be posted.

I hope you liked my “unboxing” and maybe I made you think about subscribing to PageHabit, it’s definitely worth it!

Thank you!

Bookstagram Favorites

As you might know, lately in the bookish community we assist to the rise of the bookstagramers (I recently became one too, of course).

♦What is a bookstagram?

Bookstagram is basically an instagram profile that consists of only literature related pictures. You can find there bookish giveaways, book hauls, book challenges, unboxings, reviews, anything you can think of.

You might be at the beginning of this so I thought I would share my favorite bookstagramers so far. I follow them for a really long time even though I started having my own recently.

Rusticpages  has such a beautiful feed! I love her theme.

Amberafterglowreads is a bookstagram that has everything! I love all the decor she uses in the pictures!

Nikkiinwonderland this theme is goals. I’m proud of her work.

Lifeandliterature those colors are perfect for a bookish theme.

Myriadinklings if you love stationery just like me, this is your feed!

Freckledredfox her theme is to die for, and should I even mention how beautiful she is?!

Thereaderandthechef …I’m speechless. Just check her theme out and then you’ll understand.

Elathebookworm I mean, who wouldn’t follow such a beautiful, modern theme? You need it in your feed to give it a fresh look!

Acciolibrary This one was my first bookstagram that I followed and I love it as much as I did the first time I found it.

Iammissmistake I don’t think I have any words left to describe this feed. The first time I found it I just scrolled through every picture. So inspiring!

I hope I could help some of you finding your favorite bookstagram. They’re all awesome and deserve all the recognition for the work and time they consume for the bookish community.
