Abandon all hope, ye who enter here

Inferno by Dan Brown resurrected my hope for the Robert Langdon series after The Lost Symbol was a super disappointment for me.

Rating: 4/5.

The amount of research that is being made for these books blow my mind. I rarely see this much dedication for a fictional piece of work. And that makes it even more special for me. Besides the fact that it’s very entertaining, I also learn historical art and I acquire all kinds of information that I wouldn’t even bother about… I mean… I don’t just suddenly wake up thinking that I should check out Dante Alighieri’s biography and stuff like that. Even if I may not be interested in certain things, Brown suddenly sparks an interest in me through his awesome writing.

What made me like this book so much is the subject, Inferno by Dante Alighieri. I couldn’t wait to get to this book in the series. Although I haven’t read the original Inferno (but I will soon) Brown explains very important stuff about it and I think it’s awesome all the connections he makes to music and paintings.

I will always admire the way good writers know how to twist the plot in such a way that it seems complicated but it’s still easy to understand. All the running around, people chasing each other, shooting guns and a plague, you can still find your way through it.

Looking forward to the next one! I love Robert Langdon.

PageHabit February Box

Time to unbox PageHabit’s February romance box!! I love this time of the month.

As you can see, February’s donations went to Ethiopia! That’s so thoughtful and awesome!
My favorite thing that came in the box was the beanie that says “bookworm” on it. I was so excited for it, I definitely did not expect that!

My second favorite thing was the book! I’ve read The Wedding Date in 2 days. It’s such a fast and fun book, review will come soon and we will also have the monthly discussions on the PageHabit Book Club on Facebook! Make sure you join in after reading it. Of course it contains annotations and a letter from the author. I love these small details!

Also, this box contained a Game of Thrones bookmark with my favorite GoT quote on it said by Tyrion, of course, he’s the best.

I’ve got some really cute and small letters and papers and deer stickers to use as pretty decorations on the letters. They’re so cute I almost don’t even wanna use them.

They included a pen too and a Rip Van Winkle booklet!! I’ve heard of it some time ago but I never got to read it until now so it was pretty cool.

I’m very excited to see what March will bring!
